Position Overview:

Performs all field service activities relative to press inspection, repair work, troubleshooting and maintenance and repair training of customer personnel.

Position Reports To:

Field Service Manager

Specific Duties:

  1. Performs mechanical troubleshooting and repair
  2. Reviews customer technical concerns to assist in determination of product changes or modification
  3. Performs press inspections on a variety of sizes and models
  4. Other duties as assigned

Critical Job Skills/Competency Expectations:

  1. Associates Degree in Skilled Trades or equivalent preferred
  2. Press maintenance experience desired
  3. Minimum of two years experience in a manufacturing environment (specifically in a Field Service capacity) required
  4. Reading and understanding of blueprints requiredExtensive travel required
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills required
  6. Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Position Overview:

Works on mechanical products and services, including quoting and specifying products, development of bills of material, and appropriate drawing by traditional drafting method or by CAD.

Position Reports To:

Engineering Manager

Specific Duties:

  1. Plans and formulates aspects of new product development proposal such as applications for new or modified presses, cost of projects, and equipment and human resource requirements.
  2. Reviews and analyzes sales proposals to determine if the product can be manufactured as specified.
  3. Approves and submits proposals considered feasible to management for consideration and allocation of funds for the construction of new or modified products.
  4. Assists shop floor or new product start-ups by coordinating first run production activities.
  5. Generates appropriate bills of materials from prints/drawings to allow for the production of presses or products.
  6. Utilizes CAD and/or related drawing/detailing apparatus to generate a finished print for sales and manufacturing use.
  7. Generates and/or assists in the generation of standard operating procedures to be used by manufacturing when producing a salable product.
  8. Assists in troubleshooting with machine breakdowns by helping find the right path for solving the problem, getting the parts fixed and put the machine back to work.

Critical Job Skills/Competency Expectations:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent required
  2. Minimum of five years experience in a manufacturing environment, experience with presses preferred.
  3. Minimum of (3) years of hands-on experience with CAD software.
  4. Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  6. Experience with Microsoft office

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have the ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different departments. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Engineering, Project Management, or similar fields.

Specific Duties:

  1. Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
  2. Manage the daily functions of the business
  3. Prepare annual performance review and reevaluate processes
  4. Manage budget to align with goals of business
  5. Manage a team of direct reports
  6. Be a champion for process and continuous improvement efforts

Critical Job Skills/Competency Expectations:

  1. 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  2. Engineering degree preferred, but will consider experience in lieu of educational requirements
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  4. Strong organizational and communication skills
  5. Strong ability to multitask
  6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  7. Be mechanically inclined and have the ability to troubleshoot and suggest improvements
  8. Experience managing processes and people (direct reports)
  9. Experience within the industrial press field highly preferred
